Terms of use
By using Xhale, you agree to these terms. They sit alongside Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement.
Xhale is not medical care
Xhale helps you change a habit. It doesn't diagnose, treat or replace advice from a doctor, pharmacist or therapist. The dependence scores are screening tools, not diagnoses. The health timelines and facts in the app describe typical results from public health sources. Your own body may heal on a different schedule. Talk to a doctor before starting nicotine replacement or if you're pregnant, take regular medication, or have a heart or lung condition.
Coach is an AI
Coach replies are written by an AI model. They can be wrong or incomplete, so use your own judgment. Coach isn't a crisis or emergency service. If you are in danger, call your local emergency number, or 988 in the US.
Who can use Xhale
You must be 18 or older.
Subscriptions
- Xhale needs a subscription to use. Prices are shown in the app before you buy.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Your account is charged for the next period within the 24 hours before it starts.
- Cancel any time in your iPhone's Settings under your Apple ID, then Subscriptions.
- Apple handles refunds under its own policies.
- A one-time introductory price applies only to the first period, then the regular price applies.
Using the app fairly
Don't try to disrupt the service, get around the Coach message limits, access other people's data, or copy or resell the app. We may limit or stop access if you do.
Ownership
The app, its design, text and content belong to us. What you write in the app is yours.
No guarantees
We work hard to make Xhale helpful and reliable, but we provide it "as is". We can't promise it will be error-free, always available, or that you will quit.
Limits on liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses from using Xhale. Our total liability is limited to what you paid for Xhale in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be excluded.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we'll tell you in the app. If you keep using Xhale after that, you accept the updated terms.
